Here are some pictures of the store now that I am opened.
The first week went well. There was lots of positive feedback and people are excited about a baby store in Rossland. Most of them say they travel or buy on line to get the unique and stylish items they are looking for for their little ones. I have also gotten more of a feel as to what other items people would like to see. Clothing is a big one. I would also like to do a little bit of maternity and see how that goes. I have advertised in four local publications so far which will help to spread the word but once the ‘word of mouth’ gets around that will definitely help out with the traffic.
So, now that I am opened you will all have to come out for a visit to check out Delicioius Baby and Toddler Boutique!

Here are the before and after pictures of the store renos. It was hard to picture what it could look like since it started out so ugly and outdated but the end result turned out just right.

Here is the article that the Trail Daily Times did on my store. The word is starting to spread about its soon opening and I have had lots and lots of positve feedback. Many are looking forward to having a place go to buy unique and trendy baby items. My stock is starting to come in and as soon as there is enough I will have the grand opening. So if you are ever in the area make sure you stop by to see what “Delicious” is all about!!

I am still here but I have been so busy with the opening of my baby store that I have not had time to post any pages. The renos are finally pretty much done so now comes the fun part of putting up shelving, etc. and filling it with inventory. I am hoping to have my grand opening in September if all goes well. I will also post some before and after pictures of the renos soon. And then once the store is officially open I will post some of the completed project. I am very excited about the whole thing but it has been a lot of work. But all the work is definitley paying off. See you soon!
